Advantage Repair and Maintenance Programs

• Disassembly of mechanical systems degreasing and cleaning of all parts , relubricate with special long life lubricants, assemble, set proper focusing tensions, repair all components as necessary
• Clean body, frame, condenser and illumination systems, entire optical system cleaned, aligned and inspected for image quality, clarity and resolution
• Replace broken, defective or missing parts (parts quoted at additional cost) respring stage clips (new type spring loaded stage clips, additional cost per clip instaled)
• Check parfocality of objective lenses for continuity of focus through changes of magnifications
• Check electrical system for function and safety, replace bulbs, cords, plugs, switches, rheostats as needed (parts quoted at additiona cost)
• "Student proofing" of all component parts to prevent damage and loss of parts (eyepieces, eyetubes, heads, objective lenses, stage clips, mechanical stages, focusing knobs, illuminators, etc.), components secured to the unit
• Complete performance checks of all mechanical, focusing and optical systems, dust covers included with each unit
• Service log listing serial numbers, property tag numbers (if available), with description of services performed, service tag under each microscope indicating date serviced

Mechanical balance service

Mechanical balance service includes cleaning, repairs, adjustments, calibration and student proofing, service record and service tag for each unit (parts quoted at additional cost)

Service Rates

Program 1 - Renew: $15.00 per monocular compound or stereo microscope

Program 2 - Restore: $10.00 per monocular compound or stereo microscope

Program 3 - Upgrade: Minimum 20% discount on all parts and accessories. Solid stage clips replaced with new type spring loaded stage clips at $6.00 per pair. Cord wraps for convenient cord storage can be installed on many microscopes at $15.00 per microscope

Mechanical balance service: $8.00 per unit
